Opening up teams
Click on the Windows Key / Start Button
Type 'microsoft teams' and click on the app
If your email does not auto populate type in your email address
Start a new chat, group chat, and modifying chats
Click on the new chat icon
Search for the person you wish to chat with and click on them
Compose a message and hit enter or the send icon, now the new chat will appear on the left hand side
To compose a group chat search for all the members you wish to add and send a message
It will create another chat on the left hand side.
You can send files through the chat menu but clicking the paper clip at the bottom and browsing your computer
To modify chats and group chats start by clicking on view and add participant icon at the top right
Within the menu can you add/remove users and leave the chat.
Lastly you can click on the 3 dots next to the chat for some more options
