We have come across some companies trying to open the attachment in the initial email instead of clicking the link to view the encrypted email, the attachment is just part of the encryption process and is not meant to be opened (screenshot below).
The other thing we've seen is people using outlook receive a message "This message with restricted permissions cannot be viewed", in this scenario they just need to double click the email to open it in a new window, then it will display properly.
